Noise and Infrasound from Wind Turbine

 Now SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) are universal goals. The Wind Turbine is considered as an important tool, but strong infrasound emitted.

 The standards for noise are written in 1995, ISO 7196;1995, and ISO389-7(1996) are appeared.

But the size of Wind Turbine is enlarged, and it emits very low frequency infrasound, The 1995 the frequency was from 2Hz to 3 Hz, now the frequency is from 0.5Hz to 0.8 Hz.

 For this reason, the value of weighted noise level, can not indicate the effect of infrasound to the human.

 Now we need raw data and tools for analysis. I have used the data, which is measured by NL-62 (Sound Level Meter (Class 1)) and recorded by MX-42W, as WAV file. The sampling rate is 48kHz per second. For vibration, I have used VM-55 and VX-55WR.

For read wav file, you need DADiSP/WAV module.

  Unit/Noise-Infrasound is a module on DADiSP, which gives a set of functions for analyze infrasound from Wind Turbine.
